ILLINOIS VALLEY STRIDERS HELP WANTED 2008 RACE FOR THE CURE

The 23nd running of the Komen Peoria Race for the Cure is 7:55 a.m. Saturday, May 10. Volunteer help from the Illinois Valley Striders helps make this huge event a great success.
Volunteer help is needed for the following activities:

REGISTRATION ASSISTANCE TABLE - Thursday, May 8 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. - IVS Volunteers answer registration questions and help competitive/timed participants obtain their race numbers and timing tags. METRO CENTRE SET-UP Session 1 - Friday, May 9 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. - Volunteers set up scaffolding, hang banners, etc. To volunteer, contact Philip Lockwood (email: phlockwood@yahoo.com or phone: 657-2478 or 672-6442).

METRO CENTRE SET-UP Session 2 - Saturday, May 10 from 5:00 to 7:00 a.m. Volunteers set up start and finish areas, hang banners, etc. To volunteer, contact Philip Lockwood (email: phlockwood@yahoo.com or phone: 657-2478 or 672-6442 ).
